So, as a society, we must take the initiative to bring about the necessary changes ourselves.

"Why Voting Alone Isn’t Enough"
When it comes to our fundamental rights, there are two acceptable positions:
Either we do the bare minimum to uphold those rights,
Or we go above and beyond because we want to be a good society where everyone thrives.
In reality, however, there are two positions that our political parties actually take:
The first is: We don’t care (and we say so publicly)
And the second is: We don’t care (but we claim that it actually matters to us)
Unfortunately, this is the case with many issues.
But we see it most clearly when it comes to climate protection:
The Paris Climate Agreement was adopted 10 years ago,
and since then, not a single political party has ever had a concrete plan
that would have allowed us to meet this goal.
Climate change is therefore not only a catastrophe that threatens civilization
but also a symptom of the total failure of our political system.
