While falling down the rabbit hole of getopt(3) man pages with students, we all bemoaned the word slurry machines getting in the way of good sites that had relevant help. Students immediately turned to Firefox plugins looking for a “plugin to block AI search results”. Tried one or two that didn’t quite work and then they began to investigate how to build their own. Was the best office hours in #teaching so far.
