 We need 200 Iowans to join in on one day of calls to key Iowa legislators to let them know: _we have a right to know what’s in our water._ We won’t stand idly by as essential funding is stripped from our water monitoring program!

At a time when the problem has never been worse, _lawmakers are on track to force us back into the dark about what's in our water._ ***Pledge to join Food & Water Watch for a mass call-in day to stop state lawmakers from forcing us back into the dark about the pollution in our water!*** The Iowa Water Quality Information System is a network of hundreds of sensors monitoring the pollution in Iowa's waterways across the state. Funding required to keep this network live is $600,000, which amounts to less than 1/10 of 1% of the state budget. In February, Food & Water Watch, Iowa CCI, and Progress Iowa mobilized more than 150 Iowans to demand action on Iowa's water crisis!
