This a local Indivisible event sponsored by Southern Crescent Indivisible of Georgia This event is a street protest. Protesters with a variety of signs and flags line up along the sidewalk of a busy street. We wave at drivers, smile at the supportive honks, and talk with fellow protesters. You can bring your own sign (no profanity, please) or borrow one of ours. We provide water but be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat. At our protests, you are among friends, and the atmosphere is friendly and progressive. Southern Cresent Indivisible of Georgia works with 9 counties. We are a diverse, dedicated, and volunteer group of individuals who believe in a real democracy—of, by, and for the people. We are concerned with the impact of recent changes in our government and on the impact to our counties *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*

Every Thursday from 4:30–6:00 PM, we gather outside the Cherokee County GOP office (9425 GA-92, Suite 112, Woodstock, GA 30188) for a peaceful, visible protest. Notice longer protest period! We want to be clear: we have no quarrel with reasonable Republicans who disagree with us on policy. Principled disagreement is part of democracy. What we oppose are the MAGA "republicans" who have abandoned their principles and their constituents. MAGA has been twisted by hate, dehumanization, and deliberate lies into something that no longer resembles a political party at all. Those MAGA-controlled GOP elected officials play hide-and-seek with their own constituents: skipping town halls, dodging questions, and serving Trump instead of Cherokee. While they hide, we show up. We refuse to let them keep ignoring us while helping Trump attack our freedoms. Join us every week to call them out, demand real accountability, and make sure Cherokee County's voice is too loud to dodge! 🥫 BONUS: Bring a food donation if you're able! Even if you can't stay to protest, stop by to drop off non-perishable food items. Donations will go to Latino Outreach of Cherokee County, local food pantries, and other nonprofits, with anything remaining going toward Woodstock CAN's mutual aid fund based on community need. Every can, every box, every bag makes a difference.

Join Supreme Court of Georgia candidates Jen Jordan and Miracle Rankin, reproductive healthcare advocates, and community leaders at the former Savannah Medical Clinic for a powerful event highlighting the real-life impact of Georgia’s six-week abortion ban. The path to restoring reproductive healthcare and our fundamental rights goes straight through the Supreme Court of Georgia. Together, we’ll reflect on what has been lost—and what it will take to restore freedom for Georgia women, beginning with electing Jen and Miracle to Georgia's highest court.
