But despite a shitty rag like Daily Mail attacking the kink itself, there is a nuance here that is a concern. And that's the “secret" aspect of this as it relates to the possibility of blackmail of a government official. Something like this could, and has many times in the past, be leveraged by a foreign government.

I'm not sure what, if any, answer there could be for this, but it is something legitimate to be concerned about. I guess the real answer is that folks need to mind their own business and not ridicule others for whatever kinks they have. Unfortunately, that's not reality.
