I hope more countries start looking at Sweden's lessons.
Learning is not about giving people tech skills but about shaping and environment, relationships, and mentorship in a way that lets people become who they want to be.

What’s missing from the article is that Sweden has privatized the school system and has turned it into one of the most profitable businesses in the country by cutting down expenses on teaching while being paid by the tax payer for each individual student.

The problem I see there is that it's a convenient scapegoat, similar to the social media. While banning the latter and off boarding digital-only learning are partially sensible, such measures obscure a rather big, grey (matter) animal in the room.
In a few years, politicians will have to find another Ersatzhandlung :-/ One that does not threaten financial interests.
I'm with digitization. But not in a form of tablets, more in a form of some sort of kindle, so they can have their books with them without the risk of breaking their backs.
