We should all start using @torproject for completely useless traffic to create noise for those that need to use it.

It's like speeding on a busy interstate, they can't pull us all over.

@fiend_unpleasant that would also help Tor to be unblocked by a lot of day 2 day websites like banks, travelling booking site, insurance companies, state website, etc.

@fiend_unpleasant Bad example. They will end up doing what they do in Europe. Putting automatic speed-cams and removing all the things that could slow you down to maximize the chances of catching you (yes). Effectively turning it into an automated tax

I do agree with the Tor idea though

@fiend_unpleasant @torproject

Not just that, also start using it for other things, like put your homelab admin panels up as hidden services on tor instead of using a VPN to access them from remote.
Same for websites you're hosting for your friend group.

That not just adds legitimate traffic, but also plausible deniability for everyone involved too. (And every website that has a .onion endpoint even if it is just a #SmallWeb - heck especially those - help a lot).

@fiend_unpleasant @torproject

The networking-magic of hidden-services is the most underrated feature of #tor and the #torproject

@fiend_unpleasant @torproject everything I do everywhere on the internet is behind one VPN or another.
