This is my new laptop sleeve with a stroke font lettering designed on https://www.turtlestitch.org/. Then I could export the code into a file for a digital embroidery machine. And I am happy with it 🧵

Turtlestitch is based on a browser-based educational programming language (Snap!) to generate patterns for embroidery machines.

This is so cool!
Can you give me a hint as to which machines can be used? (My school doesn't have any, and neither do I, but I'd like to look into it!)
@esthi Hey thank you! I go into fablabs who have embroisery machines when I need to use one. The important parameter if you want to make embroideries from Turtle Stitch as I did is to check if the embroidery machine can read .DST files (file format exported by TS). I already made it with Brother and Tajima machines, other brands might work too.

Good to know, thank you!😎
