Hi #fediverse I'm 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 - AKA 𝔇𝔞𝔯k𝔴𝔬𝔩𝔣

I'm a filmmaker, artist, and animator. I won 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨's 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦 award for 𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴: 𝘈 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘰𝘣 𝘙𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 in 2004. I also have a 𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦, 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩-𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴-𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩-𝘬𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 kind of movie you can watch for free on 𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐢 called 𝘓𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘥: tubitv.com/movies/662559/left-for-dead

I worked in 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 and 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 for TV stations in New Mexico, where I also did sketch comedy and variety shows on public access, and hired background actors for shows and movies filmed there. I used to self-publish electronic music as 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐁, and my music got played on college radio and rave clubs in the '90s.

I founded 𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐔𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐬, making feature films, short films for the 𝟒𝟖 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥, music videos, and promotional videos for independent artists and small businesses. I make animated intros, logos, book trailers-- you name it.

I like to draw, write, and edit photos. Expect to see some artwork from me on here. :)

@darkwolf lol it was a private wedding for a couple who loved their cars, and golf.

I once learned Blender just to show what a Dizzy 8-0 Ray looks like in a music video though.

That was hard. I’m never doing that again. 8fps because even at that frame rate it took three months to render on my old iMac.
