Any Space Weirdo #wargaming fans out there? It looks like a nice system, which I will give a try. Do you know of a solo mod for it?
@ckeen id be curious to know your experience with it :)
@Aethel So far practically none, read the rules, watched some battle reports, painted minis, built terrain. Waiting for a free evening to play it.
@ckeen if its any minis, what are you using ? :)
@Aethel I have some stargrave minis, some solar guards from RedMakers, Captain Navarro and Crew from Print Minis and gene stealer like monsters
@ckeen nice nice :)
@Aethel I just need to get better at painting :/ I don't have a better picture of them but here are the solar guards in a semi finished state
@ckeen its a road, not a destination :p they look nice. Im curious about this system too. I have some random trench crusade minis, maybe ill mix and match from other boardgames :p
@Aethel I am also preparing minis for a silver bayonet game with a friend. And I am looking into fantasy solo games, If need be, there are also these classic hero quest figures that I have painted last year... as a proxy for monsters...
@ckeen and. How do you build your terrain?
@Aethel A mix of scratch builds and 3d prints. Houses and hills, I build from foam and cardboard. Scatter terrain and smaller stuff and trees I print.
@ckeen i keep watch those tutorial on building stuff out of cardboard; kinda getting ready to try it out for #byfireandsword , i just need to find more players before i commit more time to this game
@Aethel I started building them here https://social.vernunftzentrum.de/@ckeen/statuses/01KKTSZ8WG96SFFGQAZ5HGJCY6

They are primed and cut now, still need paint and sand and tufts...
