Good Morning Worlds!
It is bin day:
Pink - Garden and food waste.
Blue - Paper and cardboard.
Black - Non recycleable waste.

I have got up early, and put my breakfast on to cook. Rice, mushrooms, sweetcorn, salami, and egg, with some veg stock for extra flavour.

I will be going to meet Sue at work later. It might be a quick morning's work for me as there are contractors in the church so we might not be able to clean in there. But they do have bins!

After an early lunch, we will head into Manchester for my manager's last day at work. There is a formal leaving do for her that begins with Quaker worship. The nice thing about Quaker worship is that it is a lot of people just being quiet. It is east to undereastimate just how nice that is.

Not sure what I'll do when we get home. That depends on how much tea and cake I have consumed.

I have just done my Working At Height training for work.
I got 9/10 because 4 of the 10 questions were not covered in the training. The one I guessed at I got wrong. 🙄

Anyway, I can't print out my certificate because our HP Pro8600 printer has packed up. It wanted black ink, so I put in a new cartridge. It accepted it as a genuine HP ink but then said there was a problem and I need to contact HP!
🤦‍♀️

We'll take it to Repair Cafe this weekend.

@Maker_of_Things Aaargh printers - they are so unreliable. But well done on the award. 9/10 sounds a good score to me.

@Janet_52square
Thank you. I am usually a 95% -100% on the training scores and it bugs me to drop one question because it wasn't covered.

The question was: How many employees to you need before you need to have a written risk assessment?
I said 1, but the answer was 5.

@Maker_of_Things @Janet_52square I hate those kinds of tests where 1) the thing wasn't in the training or it's really arbitrary so it could be A B and C or A and B and you lose marks cos they have a different view (not clear in the training) to what isn't valid. My autistic former manager also hated these bullshit Qs.

@NatalyaD @Janet_52square
Also when you have multiple choice but they don't always tell you that you can pick more than one answer in some cases.

One of the modules had an image of icons radiating out from a hub. It said click on an icon for more information. I did, but couldn't move on as I had missed something.
I had to go around twice, and then click randomly before I found out that the hub was also an icon to click on.

I am on year 6 of "Oh Hai, this training is not accessible and breaches even basic accessibility for X or Y"... Only now am I getting any traction on a law that was last made explicit in September 2019...

And I've suggested if there's keyboard options on those visual things, they need to tell us cos I couldn't work it out.
