We are heading south of Manchester to take my furniture, and other stuff, to an auction house.
This will probably be the last time I see and handle my work. But I think it is time to let go.
It does feel like letting your children go, but also knowing that you will never see them again. 😢
I don't know what else I will do today until I go to work later this afternoon.
I guess I will just look for distraction.

We have time shifted today and 8am has become 9am for stupid reasons.
I still have some clocks to adjust, and the CH timer to unadjust as I forgot it is automatic.
Not sure what I will do today, but I need to get my table and chair into the car, to make sure they fit for taking to the auction house tomorrow.
I will also need to do a write up so they have their story to go with them.
That will be bittersweet, and painful due to the staff bullying at college [sigh], but it will need to be done, albeit, mainly focused on the positives.
I will also need to change my work trousers as I realise they stink of EP80 gear oil from putting my tractor axle on the scrap pile yesterday.

I think we will be sorting scrap metal this morning, and loading more of it into the trailer.
I haven't done much clearing and packing this week due to work stuff so maybe I can catch up with it a bit.
This evening we are having chicken curry and rice, with Mum.
I am still very aware that I need to set up a new email account as Gmail is a right annoying PITA that wants to know my phone number and address. Well, they can spin for that!

Then we'll pick up a table with wobbly legs so that I can make it better.
Later I will look at more packing and clearing, probably stuff I didn't get to do yesterday.
Then we will be cleaning the Meeting House for the weekend.

We are off to the Community Workshop this morning, and I will be having a look at the toilet roof again. The temporary repair is letting sideways rain in, I think.
This afternoon I will need to pay my car insurance, and then carry on with the clearing out.

It is bin day:
Pink - food and garden waste.
Brown - cans, bottles, and food tubs.
I will be going to meet Sue at work in a moment, to do the bins there, and I will also go and do the bins at work too, even though I am on leave today.
I have Mum's laundry in the washing machine now.
As soon as we are done we will be heading north to Morecambe for lunch, and then across to Lancaster to see a talk by @drlucyrogers about her new book.

We are taking Mum shopping this morning, then I will pop into the GP surgery to try and book an appointment.
Later this morning we will be going to an informal leaving do to celebrate my manager being able to take retirement and leave work.
She has been a really good manager and colleague to work with, and will be greatly missed by her team.
We are all nervous about her replacement, but hopefully he will be fine.
It is a good day to take a break from shifting heavy stuff about, as it is wet outside and my aching body needs some recovery time.

We are going to the tip this morning. It will clear some of the stuff we sorted yesterday from the drive. I don't think we can clear it all unless we took the trailer, but the trailer is full of steel for weighing in.
Later I might carry on packing tote crates.

We are going to do a driveway reshuffle, to clear some space to see what we are keeping and what will be disposed of.
I am hoping that it will be quiet on the road so that I can get both cars and both trailers outside for a while without obstructing our neighbours too much.
Some of my heavy equipment might end up in Mum's conservatory, out of her way.
This could be a big, all day, job, and maybe a little back breaking, so we need to be careful.

We are packing all the tools and taking the homework to Levenshulme Repair Cafe this morning.
This afternoon we are donating a load of bike tools and spares to Manchester Bike Kitchen.
It will be a fairly busy day and we are still going to be having dinner with Mum tonight.
