We are loading up tools and stuff to take to Boothstown Repair Cafe.

I am taking out HP Pro8600 printer and my Dad's old Eumig cine projector for repair. The Telefunken M24 reel to reel is also going as I have given it to one of the other volunteers.

Later, weather permitting, I will check the trailer tyre pressures, and probably see about loading more scrap metal.
We might also do more clearing and packing.

I am realising the enormity of clearing and packing workshop stuff! 😱

Good Morning Worlds!
I am awake and up early. Why? I have no idea. I could still be in bed, warm and snuggly, but no, I am up and about!

I will go and meet Sue at work in a while, and clean up the church after contractors have been in.

Later I might go and put Bugsy through the car was as he is covered in bird poop from being parked under a tree.

Then we might look at getting more scrap metal out, and into the trailer, or I might fit a new handle to a spade. I'll see what takes my fancy.

Good Morning Worlds!
We are off to the community workshop this morning. I will be taking Scout with a trailer as we have 650kg of paving slabs and ten 4m long translucent roofing sheets to donate towards their future toilet block build.

This afternoon, well, I have no idea yet. Probably more clearing and packing, maybe a tip trip if we feel like it, that kinda thing.
Also trailer and car shuffling to get them all back on the drive, then caretaking work to see what state the Meeting House is in before the Easter weekend.

It is bin day:
Pink - Garden and food waste.
Blue - Paper and cardboard.
Black - Non recycleable waste.

I have got up early, and put my breakfast on to cook. Rice, mushrooms, sweetcorn, salami, and egg, with some veg stock for extra flavour.

I will be going to meet Sue at work later. It might be a quick morning's work for me as there are contractors in the church so we might not be able to clean in there. But they do have bins!

After an early lunch, we will head into Manchester for my manager's last day at work. There is a formal leaving do for her that begins with Quaker worship. The nice thing about Quaker worship is that it is a lot of people just being quiet. It is east to undereastimate just how nice that is.

Not sure what I'll do when we get home. That depends on how much tea and cake I have consumed.

Good Morning Worlds!
We are taking Mum shopping this morning, and then I have a GP appointment for a routine blood test (my choice of book to read last night was so that it would fit in my book pocket while we're out, so I have something to read while waiting).
Then I need to meet the drains chaps in Northenden to discuss some drains repairs.

If all that happens before lunch then we'll try to do a scrap metal run to get a few quid for the trailer load.

We are heading south of Manchester to take my furniture, and other stuff, to an auction house.

This will probably be the last time I see and handle my work. But I think it is time to let go.
It does feel like letting your children go, but also knowing that you will never see them again. 😢

I don't know what else I will do today until I go to work later this afternoon.

I guess I will just look for distraction.

Good Morning Worlds!
We have time shifted today and 8am has become 9am for stupid reasons.

I still have some clocks to adjust, and the CH timer to unadjust as I forgot it is automatic.

Not sure what I will do today, but I need to get my table and chair into the car, to make sure they fit for taking to the auction house tomorrow.

I will also need to do a write up so they have their story to go with them.
That will be bittersweet, and painful due to the staff bullying at college [sigh], but it will need to be done, albeit, mainly focused on the positives.

I will also need to change my work trousers as I realise they stink of EP80 gear oil from putting my tractor axle on the scrap pile yesterday.

I think we will be sorting scrap metal this morning, and loading more of it into the trailer.

I haven't done much clearing and packing this week due to work stuff so maybe I can catch up with it a bit.

This evening we are having chicken curry and rice, with Mum.

I am still very aware that I need to set up a new email account as Gmail is a right annoying PITA that wants to know my phone number and address. Well, they can spin for that!

We are off to the Community Workshop this morning, and I will be having a look at the toilet roof again. The temporary repair is letting sideways rain in, I think.

This afternoon I will need to pay my car insurance, and then carry on with the clearing out.
