@Techaltar One problem I have with all these systems at the moment is interoperability. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to move/visit a new country and not be able to pay at some shops because you don't have the local thing (in this country's case, it would require me to get a bank account in that specific country). I feel like this is the real advantage Visa/Mastercard have, and until there's something as universal as them, they are not going away anytime soon.
