Apple's motion was denied — judge said Apple didn't follow the rules. Then the judge gave Apple everything Apple asked for anyways & more, without explanation or justification. Takedown order. Gag order. Sealing. Despite no motion for any of it.

The NLRB already investigated. Apple signed a national settlement promising to stop silencing workers with overbroad confidentiality rules. Now Apple is using a court order to do the exact thing it told US gov it'd stop doing

In 1932 Congress passed the Norris-LaGuardia Act because courts kept issuing injunctions to silence workers at the boss's request. Congress stripped that power. What this court did is the same thing Congress outlawed 94 years ago.

I filed three legal objections raising 30 issues. I also filed a petition asking the federal Rules Committee to change the rules so courts can't keep doing this to workers. They consider it April 14.

This isn't just my case. Any employer can run this playbook against any worker. Get a protective order, stamp the worker's complaints "Confidential," and the court enforces the gag. No review. No findings. Boss decides what you can say.
