And so we are getting progressively sucked into the US/Israeli ignited war with Iran; and forget the idea these will only be used fro defensive deployments & flights.

Any addition to defensive capabilities frees up other military assets for further attacks.

The UK is now (whatever Keir Starmer says & the Tangerine Tyrant companies about) taking part in the war on Iran.

I'll be clear: NOT IN MY NAME

Whatever I may think about Iran this is not the way forward!
