I search "white trans women" every once in a while BlueSky, to get a sense of what people are saying.
Usually it's just blatant transmisogyny, but today it's actually been kinda cool and inspirational (in addition to the horrors).

There is also the horrors.
Like, this is somebody being pointlessly cruel to a *trans man* about his memorial to his dead wife.
And then doubling down about it in the apologies.
Notice the division is between "white trans women" and all "trans men and non-binary people"?
A very clear example of "white trans women" just meaning "trans women".
Somebody calling a (Mexican, light skinned but seemingly not white) woman racist for using the first name "Maya".
I have no idea if Maya is trans or not, but "white trans women" were also complained about in the same thread.
My assumption is that (if Maya is trans), most people choosing the name "Maya" for themselves were thinking about the Greek or Hebrew origins of that fairly common woman's name.
The "all trans people are white" thing is just blatant Nazi "degeneracy" bullshit.
Trans people did not "make it that way".
White trans people do not believe that.
It is a Nazi theory that Nazis promote is that the existence of trans people results from rich white people's lives being too easy, so they become like the weirdos from the Capital in the Hunger Games.
This is why trans women were murdered in the Holocaust.
Don't fucking blame trans people for a fucking century-old antisemitic conspiracy theory used to justify the murders of trans people.
Going to end the thread here, on a more positive note.
Because yes. Obviously using "white trans women" as a shorthand for "trans women" erases trans women of colour.
And that fucking sucks.
