There does not seem to be a single TBS-related instance running Akkoma or a Misskey fork.

Okay, so I have a Mastodon question.

Looking through TBS-related admins, we have:

- Admin roles
- Owner roles
- One "Founder" badge
- One absolutely fantastic "Sorceress" badge.

Does anybody know how the "Owner" role works, and what it's supposed to indicate?

Besides being slightly cringe, is this just different defaults in different Mastodon versions?

I always forget how much of TBS and the like come from that really anti-Muslim, transphobic side of Twitter.

They're Jorbiters.

To the extent that people outside of Fedi know who these people are, it's that they celebrated the murder of Saudi trans woman Eden Knight and then spend years harassing her loved ones.

It is hard to take somebody seriously on racism, if they can't understand how anti-Muslim racism in Europe is *the* thing that started the current global neo-fascist moment.

Especially if that person is a white European, themselves.

And this isn't even me calling for oppression Olympics or whatever.

But the decision to just completely (and repeatedly) ignore transphobia in favour of other issues WHEN YOU LIVE ON TERF ISLAND is not an accident.

It's a transphobic message that WelshPixie is choosing to send.

And the message is "trans people should shut up".

I think it would be hard to argue that, in the UK, transphobia isn't a dramatically more urgent issue than racism.

Again, because trans people are facing de jure legal discrimination that has permanent impacts on people's lives.

But it's also kind of wild that the anti-racism training that WelshPixie doesn't really have anything to do with the UK?

Like... there is no mention of Islamophobia or anti-Roma racism in that document.

You would think that if they were going to link to sources for anti-racism training, they would at least do a similar thing with anti-transphobia resources.

Because, you know... WelshPixie lives in a country with anti-trans health care bans, anti-trans legal segregation, and widespread transphobia among both major political parties.

I kind of wonder how many TBS admins would be willing to actually acknowledge that transphobia is a serious threat, on the same level with racism.

Because it really just seems like they don't think transphobia is real.
