Just another example of what an overly deregulated market does to local economies… not that I have an answer aside from the ‘nationalisation’ bludgeon (which might not work at all if used in isolation).

@RaymondPierreL3 @Vittoria I like to think that taking this crisis head-on by would be the way to go:

An emergency large scale build out of solar, wind, EV infrastructure. Tax heavy SUVs. Massively build out bike roads. Make public transport free or nearly free. Ban private cars in city centers. Remove tariffs on foreign EVs. Etc etc etc
