cognitively accessible math@thejtoken I was spared a trip to ER because when I was about to go out to a ride where Bill had said, since eerybody said I"d be fast!!! on a light bike, that he'd set up one of his flat bar bikes with skinny tires for me .... Erin said "NO! A nice man has set up a bike for you!! YOU WILL NOT WEAR A TSHIRT! Go get a nice jersey!"
Welp, the clean one was long sleeved.
Welp, Bill's bike had mUCH STRONGER brakes than mine so that when we went into a little gravel goin' oh, 20 mph, and I just squeezed a little to slow down, the silly bike STOPPED an I sailed over the handlebars.
Had I not had long sleeves on, that gravel would have embedded. As it was, I got home and cleaned that wound out and experienced what I'd only read about in books --> a wound that needed daily cleaning and dressing.
HOORAY for long sleeve jerseys :)
