@rogue_cells @tess If you subscribe to the “We cAn alWAyS teLL” attitude, you tend to look for non-conventionally attractive (read: small, white and thin) women because what good are women if they’re not attractive to you, and if you’re going after trans women, you can even feel good about protecting bit-uh, women, from them…whether or not said women want you to.

Can’t really do that with trans men because why would you need to defend cis men; what are they, girls?

@rogue_cells @tess Or, in other words: trans men are treated like women in that they’re not taken seriously, and trans women are treated like men in that their “deviance” is pathologized and sexualized.
