For biodegradable faux fur I only found "biofluff", which sets itself up as italian fashion luxury and looks like it still hunts for investors rather than sell anything. Next best is just real fur.
Would rabbit skin glue be strong enough for my use cases? It's cheap enough that I'm willing to try it out eventually.
How much would I need to compress wool or hemp fluff that is sold as roof insulation to pad and shape up an articulated tail? Would I be willing and able to needlefelt it into shape?
Already compressed and sturdy wool felt plates are pricy, but maybe hurts less than hours of needlefelting?
Could I use the material in crafting masks, too?
Can my fucked hands handle wood carving masks?
If I really want to make my hobby more ecological I got quite the journey ahead. 😬
