I keep seeing framing like THESE ARE RECORD STORMS/FIRES and even if they attribute it to #climatechange, it's still "this is an outlier" not "this will get worse and worse" much less "this will get worse in ways we can't actually predict."

And almost zero sense that we should *prepare*.

@susankayequinn They don't want us to prepare because that would reduce the effectiveness of their "depopulation" scheme (healthcare cuts are also part of said scheme). 🙃

@tk I think it's much more that they're making too much money from the continue status quo and especially from the consolidation of power of fascism and technofeudalism. Being necropoliticians is a route to power. Like they aren't really trying to depopulate (see: panic about depopulation and the pronatalist movement), it's more that they're trying to impoverish and control and reduce people's ability to remove them from power.

@tk it's highly disengenuous; sure, they don't mind if lots of people die, that's integral to the project of general terrorization and oppression, but they RELY on having a bunch of people remaining poor and precarious so they'll do the work that keeps them insanely wealthy.

Then they pretend to want to "save the poors" so they can have social "approval" as well (see: Gates).

That may be true, but do they need all ~8 billion of us? Also, many of them are set for life, even if they keep living their opulent lifestyles, so those people don't need our money.

@tk your mistake is thinking like a normal person and (I cannot emphasize this enough)...they are warped. Yes they need all of us subjugated, there's a black hole in their soul that can never be filled, they are endlessly ravenous.

To me the whole money game discussion is over, it's not about money any more.
It is about life the valuing of something more basic to life itself, ecological viability, which has been discounted by capitalist doctrines at ever higher rates, by a madhat bunch of evangelist economists.
This has caused life itself to be destroyed to make 'wealth' for higher human control.

When this base of life itself breaks (ie see UK Gov Oct COBRA/DEFRA redacted report), then the game being played will be as naked as the emporer was without clothes.

Only the owned & neutered medias will see the empower as fully clothed, will the public follow that deluson?

I give it a 50/50 chance.

@sjb I periodically lose my entire mind about how the insurance industry -- insurance AS A CONCEPT -- is one or two mega climate disasters away from disappearing in a puff of smoke leaving bankrupt states (and people) behind

(and of course virtually no one is talking about this)
