Many weather stations across the southern two thirds of the U.S. are already logging a record number of 80°F (and even 85°F+) days this year. This really highlights to me the extreme nature of the warmth in March, with many areas already seeing summer-like heat.

@ZLabe

Has there been a sudden change in methane? Do we still have monitoring?

@2qx You can find the monitoring here: https://gml.noaa.gov/ccgg/trends_ch4/
Trends in CH4 - NOAA Global Monitoring Laboratory

GML conducts research on greenhouse gas and carbon cycle feedbacks, changes in aerosols, and surface radiation, and recovery of stratospheric ozone.

@ZLabe We’re several months ahead of the curve here near Tucson. Bizarre weather.

All of the other external chaos plus this really makes for a weird mental stew. At least for us.
