Today, I am mostly swotting up on the theory, tools, and techniques of cutting a rabbit (rebate) in a big boat's keel timber to shape it for fitting frames to the keel and then planks to the frames.

@DavidBridger Highly recommend Paul Gartside - Plans and Dreams Volume I to III and Bud McIntosh - How to Build a Wooden Boat. Both excellent craftsmen and writers.

Larry Pardey - Details of Classic Boat Construction is also worth a look, although he is not nearly as engaging a read. Bud has about as strong an opinion about right or wrong, but he has a sense of humor about it and humility, whereas Pardey is just an unmitigated blowhard.

@PalmAndNeedle Thanks for your recommendations. (I've heard of the Pardeys' travels, but haven't read him. Appreciate the heads up.)
@DavidBridger always! Happy to answer questions as well, I've been studying it in theory for a decade plus and recently switched to boatbuilding as a career
@PalmAndNeedle Thank you. I wish you joy and success in your new boatbuilding career.
