Why does she still get attention?

She speedran meaningfully damaging an already damaged economy when given power in days. Her ideas demonstrably lack merit.

Unless her following is literally just people waiting for her to say something else stupid

Probably because she is the second ever female UK Prime Minister.

That alone means her (incredibly stupid) comments have public interest.
