I was preparing my track workout for tomorrow and noticed that all the high school tracks I've run on have north-south orientation.

Curious, are all high school tracks designed this way? I pulled up Strava maps and looked. I found a lot that had various orientations that didn't align with north-south. Makes sense.

But I found one in my area that appears to be the standard IAAF dimensions rather than the typical equal quadrant layout around American football fields.

Found a local high school 400 meter track with a double radius bend. That's one funky looking curve.

Found another odd track layout, at a local university! In this case, the straightaways are ~109 meters and the curves ~91 meters.

This is approximated by using the measurement tool on Google Maps and measuring:

- Inner oval width
- Inner oval length
- Straightaway start to finish
- Lane 1 curve from start/finish scratch marks on straightaway.

A measure wheel would be better of course (blueprints best), but this is close enough I bet it's within a few centimeters.

@atoponce I thought I remembered, but you made me look up my own High School track just to be sure.
