I found three vintage Schwinn bikes that I really want. I'd do them up like I did Old Hank Blue, the 80's Schwinn Typhoon.
Honestly, if I could sell all of the mountain bikes I have, save for Rusty (I can't sell that one; stupid seized bottom bracket), I'd buy all three Schwinns in the same week, and then do some kind of pop up sale somewhere here in town by home once they were built up.
I also was brainstorming with my partner. We came up with names for the bikes, and a fantastic tie-in to my side hustle. It'd be a great way to launch the brand. But I am going to have to delay it.
I'm still struggling with the paperwork for the LLC. I'm also behind schedule on selling the bikes I finished this month. I might have to do a spring clearance sale just to break even.
I also need to develop a logo somehow.
I think it'd be amazing to roll up to some kind of a local bike swap meet, or a bike show. Something like Made, but not at that level.
I'd like to have a legit logo, merch, and 4 rad retromodded vintage bikes to put on display. And to sell. Even if to just make a small profit. Just to try it, to do it once, and experience it.
I'm no ultraromance, but I dig the vibe. Dude has style.
