Here's a second creative post for today. I got a #moog Mother 32 for my birthday!! Here's my first lil' jam. I wanna' do more live, improvised performing like this, if I can ever get the clocks synced, and if I can figure what to do with all the wallwarts. Plugging in everything pictured requires two power strips!! https://youtu.be/XwqIHE1Mhc8

@JessicatheVIArtist @codinghorror Enjoy the M32! It was the very first semi-modular/modular synth I bought nearly a decade ago now and is still my favourite. It’s so playable and sounds so good with a touch of reverb and delay.

@JessicatheVIArtist @codinghorror I don’t have a mini freak myself but from what I’ve read it has a 3.5mm clock out port which you should be able to plug directly into the M32’s Tempo jack to sync their clocks.

If that doesn’t work you could also try connecting the MIDI out of the mini freak to the MIDI in on the M32. That should also sync them but I generally find CV clock simpler and more reliable than MIDI clock.

@mdreid @codinghorror I tried with CV but didn’t have luck on my first try. I’ll have to try again next time. Sometimes it takes me a few tries to do things in the right sequence.
@JessicatheVIArtist @codinghorror It can definitely be fiddly sometimes. I’m happy to try things out on my M32 and report back if you’d like any help with that.
