@wandrew @alex reminds me of that old GPO film where the radio operators are trying to talk to the French fishing vessel in Franglais before the Scottish fisherman who let his tank run dry and stalled his engine called MAYDAY - then the Post Office guys, the Coastguard and French sailors work together to help locate the Scottish boat who is firing rockets - no GNSS in those days, and the ships radio doesn't work without power on board (the French guys are saying amongst themselves, "Regarde! Tu vois la fusée?", then call up Wick Radio in perfect English 😁 )
