Stocks tried _really hard_ to have a good day today. Everything rallied. At one point the DJIA was up a whole 1%, which is a good swing up. They tried.
Market's still open but... it has not worked out.

@tithonium Oh, a bunch of right people are getting hurt. Not the most powerful and wealthy of them, but their base? The people - particularly their _rural_ and _exurban_ base - who have to drive fucking everywhere including the bathroom, who love to roll coal, and live to hurt other people? Oh yeah. They're feeling this. It hurts.
Problem is that a lot of wrong people are getting hurt too. Lots and lots and lots of people who do not, in fact, deserve this shit. (Including, yes, some people who live rural.)
