Periodic table by lickability :)

(by Reddit user: u/Wellihol)

Note: this chart is in some cases possibly dangerously inaccurate. e.g. Elemental Calcium can cause fire in the presence of water. So, for any elemental licking experiments, take with a pinch of Na Cl

@infobeautiful But not with a pinch of Na by itself, right?
The disclaimer is doing a lot of work here. Someone ranked every element by lickability, got to calcium, and had to stop and add a fire warning. That's the scientific method.
@infobeautiful weโ€™re all hearing this to the tune of the Tribe Called Quest song, right?
@infobeautiful grape is often my favorite flavor.

OMG this AI alt hurts to read

@infobeautiful

take with a pinch of Na Cl

Not NaCl, but Na and Cl? So lick the Na and then lick the Cl?

Ok, well, if you say so.

@infobeautiful And e.g. Nitrogen gas, no problem (if you can call it "licking") but, licking liquid nitrogen?... not advised.
@infobeautiful Yeah, I was looking at that... Didn't check the green ones, but the yellow and red, several I would say, "nope not at all..." At least not in elemental forms.
