Treated myself to a new pair of shoes after realising my current pair were doing me no favours on recent walks. Bought a pair of #Sorel, reduced from £110 to £77 🛍️
When ordering the Sorel I also picked up a pair of Salomon and planned on only keeping the one pair but my goodness these are like walking on clouds. I’m trying to justify keeping them knowing that we’ll get a lot of wet weather even in Spring/Summer 🤔
I’ve gone through so many trainers lately to find a pair that worked. I ended up on HOKA.
@ljpuk yeah I struggled to find ones that were more urban than sporty, but the trouble is the urban/city ones are rarely waterproof.
I ended up adding a waterproof spray to mine. I know it’s not as good but it’ll do maybe.
@ljpuk Hoka are SO good. I wore my previously super-comfy Nikes the other day and it felt like walking on concrete in comparison 😂 My physiotherapist also highly rates Hoka for their knee and back support. And with a back injury I can agree with that. Recently did a trip to Disneyland Paris wearing my Hoka Clifton 9s and didn’t have sore feet at all - unheard of.
They are great. I wear them with orthotics as I have back issues. I was wearing a 9 year old pair of NIKE. I went through ON and Saucony to get there. I have Speedgoat 6.
