Man, I can tell I didn’t sleep well last night because I am having A Day with my brain firing on 2 cylinders.
Wedding planning is stressful af.
@winterknight1337 I hear ya. We just saw two more venues yesterday. We liked what we saw and the package seemed like a good deal, but we gotta run down the DJ and photo/video vendors to see if we like like them.
@kevinmirsky fortunately I think the last of the vendor stuff we have to do is flowers, and catering for the rehearsal dinner. Honeymoon got booked, hotels for the wedding and the days leading up to it are done, there’s so much to do man.
@kevinmirsky it took us like, a year to find a venue we liked.

@winterknight1337 oh yeah, I hear that. We've been engaged for about 2 years now and we're finally feeling like we're close to booking something. Whole bunch of factors but we're getting there!!

And yeah, I see a bunch of all that crazy stuff on the horizon. A bunch of the traditional North Indian events are in the cards so the logistics around those days is going to be... Fun lol

@kevinmirsky if your fiancee is Indian, there’s some next level wedding planning happening in your future if y’all are doing anything traditional too. Are you two flying out to India for any of it?

@winterknight1337 for ease of logistics we're keeping everything stateside, though seeing how much more you can get for the money over there, we'd be lying if we didn't say we were tempted to to do things over there!

But yeah, plenty of parts to plan 😅 we're trying to trim things down a bit but there'll still be a good amount. And since neither of us are religious but the culture's important, we've landed on doing a secular, American ceremony and then another traditional Sikh one.

@winterknight1337 Yes....yes it is. Went through it last year and we were doing it somewhat lowkey and extremely non traditional. But fuck.....
