I ended up back on May 23, 1900 the day William Harvey Carney was awarded the medal of honor for his acts in 1863.

Of course Wikipedia offers so much info, and was worth a few extra minutes to edit article to add archived link.

That I have been around for about 22,645 days is, well, strange.
Yeah, it is my birthday and that is enough.
I am blasting the Excitable Boy album here in an empty office. It was a beautiful walk to work. Fog over the river. I had a wonderful two days on Orcas Island. How nice. How very nice.

@creating I got it to work on mobile. My mirror date is April 27, 1946, so lots of World War II related events. Notable is that in 1941 on that day, the Germans entered Athens.
