@alsvha I find I am the same - drawn to these isolated mature trees amongst a grassy or snowy field. I often ponder why I am drawn to them too and wonder if it has to do with a subconscious sympathizing with the loneliness of the scene, or a desire for the simplicity that the scene suggests exists.

Anyways, I'm glad you like it :) It's a beautiful memory of mine standing alone in the cold the morning I photographed this tree.
