Not going to complain about my $4.95 at the Costco up in Shoreline at all. Granted, while most regular gas stations here are around $5.29-$5.49, we do have a couple of always-expensive ones near downtown that are at or above $6.00.
@Nshrubs @cookiesinheaven Wow, that's a bargain compared to our area!
@Nshrubs $5.90 and $6.14 near my house, in Santiago. I’m glad that I don’t need a car.
@wtrmt I really only have to drive to work, & I have a small Honda that gets good gas mileage, so it doesn't affect me personally too much yet. Otherwise I take the bus, light rail, ride my bike, or walk. But it is hurting schools (buses) & public transit, & businesses with shipping/delivery costs.
@Nshrubs yes: more inflation coming our way: this war will affect everyone.
@Nshrubs @cookiesinheaven @ai6yr $5.89 this morning at chevron in Lake Forest Park
@kayakpatrick @cookiesinheaven @ai6yr That one is ALWAYS expensive, no matter whose brand is on that station.
@Nshrubs @cookiesinheaven @ai6yr from my fill up 1.5 months ago :(
@larand @camless @ai6yr @Nshrubs @cookiesinheaven I bet your tank USED to only hold like $85 worth of gas. You got the Trump upgrade!
@larand @camless @ai6yr @Nshrubs @cookiesinheaven Yep, 91 octane is hovering around $6.40 around here #sfba
@larand @camless @ai6yr @Nshrubs @cookiesinheaven I've seen $7.79 for diesel in Northern California in the last few days.
@larand @drahardja Germans would love to fill-up so cheap.
A gallon is 4.54609 liter, on 30.03. 1 Euro was 1.1484USD, 1l of e10 petrol was 2.072 €. That makes 9.648 USD per Gallon.
On the other hand I‘m driving an EV, need 18kWh/100km, have some PV. Charging at home is either „free“ or 0.36€/kWh.
@camless @cookiesinheaven @ai6yr ☹️ I was paying $3.59 under Biden. It stayed that way for awhile, then started heading up after mango & stayed around $3.79/3.89 for s couple of months, then came March. March 18th I got gas at Costco for $4.75, Saturday March 28th it was $4.95, today it is $4.99.
