This week: Critters 4 (1992).
We're down to two eggs.
The quality of the spaceship effects is astounding!
Jump forward to 2045 (I think, just caught the tail of the caption)
"He's got stiff in the jock." What a turn of a phrase.
"Pull out when I say and not before."
We almost have smoking ... the cigar is not lit.
Ah! The Intergalactic Council came apart between then and now, that's why they didn't collect the pod.
"I don't think there's anybody here. Anybody alive, at least."
We have now reached the nude-in-the-shower portion of our film.
Love the self-censored subtitles.
The captain is down (very slowly) and the Critters (and Charlie) are loose on the station!
"They don't look nothin' like a piranha."
Dr McCormick's secret lab. Unidentifiable things floating in colored water.
Nostril close up!
The director really loved the trash compactor scene in Star Wars.
"syphalloids"
Yes, flop that rubber bug around on a stage light.
Bernie now has access to the drugs. Bernie is happy(er) now.
Bernie has met the critters.
WE are now in the egg-stomping portion of our film.
When did Ethan change out of the cowboy boots?
"You're not my father!"
Back in the spice lab!
Eggshells. Why did it have to be eggshells.
These space effects are so awesomely bad
Ethan wants a souvenir.
Ug has left the film.
Angela's countdown was off ... and Ethan makes a comment on it.
Wear my sunglasses in space.
What, that's it? The whole Uber-Crite thing was all for nothing? The syphallites?
... and the sound of a critter hacking at the very end of the slow credits crawl. That's it.
Big thanks to @Taweret for that penultimate gasp from the Critters franchise (I hope) ...
More eggshells than critters, five deaths by critter, two by gunshot, almost smoking (close with a cigar), no coffee. Multiple subplots that could have been more interesting than the main plot scattered about.
Still, it was a movie.
