#ACT #PublicTransport Itโ€™s already been noted that the new Woden Interchange has issues with protection from the weather. Region article.

@treleanor

As I have often stated ... too often according to many :) ... plans are made by people sitting in their A/C office above an underground carpark and the only time they make contact with the weather is from their front door to their car ...

@MyView It does make you wonder, doesnโ€™t it?
@MyView @treleanor husband was sitting in the drs' waiting room observing all the people in shorts and t-shirts on that surprisingly cold day we had recently. Straight from car to reception obviously.

@treleanor as usual, forget about passenger comfort while waiting for a bus!

Wait till mid winter with icey rain pouring down and a roaring gale, or mid summer with 40 degree heat!

@treleanor We at the Woden end of town have been having some fun on the whatsapp about this. You have to laugh... Chris Steel strikes again! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
@sister_ratched Steel fancy vid on Facebook, lots of light in colour, Chris in hard hat. Looks like comments are disabled, or only people he allows. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿคฌ
@treleanor
Ah yes, I have long ago noticed that modern TransPerth "bus shelters" completely fail to protect passengers from the sun, the wind, or the rain. They don't shelter the bus either.
@treleanor Itโ€™s worse than the Dickson bus interchange which I can tell you is miserable in winter and high summer. Itโ€™s as if the designers have never waited at a bus stop.
