I've been waiting for Auracast to become a thing for a while now. I really hope it will eventually become available at chaos/hacker events (#CCC, #EMF, etc) because these lecture halls often have a lot of ambient noise that I find hard to filter out. Being able to just put on headphones and listen to the audio directly from the microphone would really help.

@ayke I wonder if people have looked into Auracast (basically the modern bluetooth version of this).

Not to dismiss this tech obv, but Auracast probably has better quailty
