I have worked on over 10,000 turbine locations in over 200 wind farm sites across the US. Renewables are the pure capitalization of energy cost, a predictable, insurable capital investment with zero speculative consumable cost. Which is why speculators, as well as oil and coal producers, are desperate to stop it. There is no way to game the wind market with false shortages.

@rotopenguin @Okanogen @SeanCasten Making walls that tall is an even more expensive thing. Wind turbines tend to heights of 100 m for the turbine hub.
