I got into vinyl at the right time because a lot of my favorite albums from college, which is really where my musical tastes where solidified, are getting 20th anniversary re-releases.
The Slackers are like... old school ska punk, sort of like The Specials, but with a smooth Louisiana vibe to them.
I don't really know of anyone else that sounds like this. It's very unique.
