Today I'm hitting the "20 years permanently away from Windows" anniversary milestone.

Kudos to a few dedicated geeks out there who had a hand in making it possible at all, and a great journey overall. Would do it all over again 100%.

@MonsieurLu @tobozo (and a few others I'll probably add along the way).

@LePertti @tipiak75 Whenever I think back to how long I’ve been on Linux, I have the same thought: Why haven’t I started earlier?

@ilyess @LePertti Yeah, it feels that way, but in my case I happen to know : I _did_ start 6 years earlier actually. Took that long for me to make the big jump on main computer.

I was a win2k power user back in the day, and actually using linux as desktop was touch and go in a lot of aspects.

The day-to-day comfort we take for granted today actually was built up over many years of devs, contributors and helpers' hard work.
