Does anyone know of any plugins/addons for Jellyfin or Kodi that allow a user to subscribe to a #peertube channel or account, and automatically download the videos so they can be watched on #kodi or #jellyfin ?

@troed Yep, I've been trying to find a pathway off YouTube to #peertube but I watch predominately on a Nvidia Shield set top box. It runs Kodi & Jellyfin just fine, so it dawned on me that maybe through an addon it would work. Seems there are a few Github projects that folks have done in the past, and Kodi have this featured:

@mylesw if you find a podcast downloader you like, you could probably point it at the channel's RSS feed with the downloads configured to where Jellyfin/Kodi can see them

@ryan thats an interesting idea. I have built a custom "podgrabber" bash script that I could potentially use for that
