My hero, @[email protected], has enabled me to submit these crunchy monochrome snaps before the clock ran out on #MonochromeMarch. I love black and white cinematography, especially that of L’Avventura and Pather Panchali. I can’t imagine the sustained artistic vision involved in filming those works.

Despite the title, not much happens in L’Avventura, so if you want plot, start with Pather Panchali.
