You have also be an ally for queer and trans people. For women and Bi_PoC folks. For disabled and neurodivergent people. For ethnic and religious minorities in your country and elsewhere. Or to break it down: For all the marginalized folks out there.

Because the thing is: the right wing extremists of all kinds come for *all* these marginalized folks.
In the US, they started with the bodily autonomy rights of women (abortion rights), the rights of trans people and immigrants, but don’t you think they’ll stop there. First, they are coming for the marginalized, but if we let them, they will come for everybody. Even cis men.

Which brings me to the next point. You have to be against the patriarchy, because even if you are a cis man, the patriarchy harms you too. If you don't believe me, there are several articles about this online, for instance this one:

You also have to be against capitalism, because capitalism is a root cause for so many problems in this world, including the massive destruction of the environment, unethical behaviour of millionaires and billionaires, poverty, famine, wars and so on.
We need a different economy system, and there are also interesting concepts out there, like de-growth and zero growth and the „Doughnut Economics“ (see the same called non-fiction book by Kate Raworth).
