#MorningAll & #TZAG G’day Squirrel Fans, hope I find you bright eyed & bushy tailed!

Sunday has dawned damp & grey although it will be a fairly mild day with temps topping out at around 10ºC.

Well the clocks going forward have played havoc with my little squirrelly brain & I’m not sure what I’m doing!
Thankfully we have no plans for today so I can let the chaos wash over me.

Cashew later Peeps, have a fabulously nutty day #Today ! 😊🫶🖖

@MAJ1 what's with this clocks ahead? We did that last month, is there a delay more than 4 hours?

@Rasta That I hadn’t thought about but our clocks only changed at 2am this morning.

I need to get up & get all the clocks that need the human touch in sync with all the ones that sort themselves out.

@MAJ1 coffee pot, microwave, store, and for whatever reason, that wall clock, but your phone updated automatically . The hard one is the car radio
@Rasta Yep! We have a 5 wall clocks around the house that need changing & yes the one in the car, which sadly does not update off the back of CarPlay. Hey ho.

@MAJ1
Way back in the 90s, when we started getting PCs in the offices, there were resisters, who didn't want to give up their electric typewriter.. and before that, their manual one, they hated technology changes. Anyway, every office has a wall clock, every PC has a clock in the corner, almost everyone has a watch, and yet, how many times, someone asked, what time is it?

even in a power failure my phone will keep the power to the clock for days. I can learn to read a sundial by then.
We don't need battery operated wall clocks (or electric)

@Rasta I have an unconscious & really quite deep seated need to know the time - accurately. Clocks that are wrong bug me & I need to be able to tell the time in which ever room I’m in.

If I only had a sundial I would be lost!

@MAJ1 if you get rid of the clocks, think of the savings in anxiety?

@Rasta Morning Rasta 👋😊

No I would just be anxious that I didn’t know the time then! 😆

@MAJ1 you know, I threw my watch away when I retired. I wasn't on time when I wore one anyway? I get up when I get up, sleep when I can, and eat when I am hungry. What do I need time for? And now I'll get all philosophical, Time is a human construct. Like money, just paper until you let it run your life .
Christmas, Easter, gifts, Easter Eggs, Halloween, all human constructs. We, create the thing and repeat it for no logical reasons, did no one ever ask why the actual calibration we call time, influences no other creatures but the ones who made it up?
But, I don't want to discourage you from checking the time frequently, particularly if you have appointments 😉
@Rasta I cannot disagree, but as you say hard to keep appointments when you don’t know the time!
@MAJ1 I was never on time when I had a watch, and you were late a few times too, so, the time doesn't appear to make you ON TIME lol

@MAJ1 @Rasta

someone gave a doorman an existential crisis asking when they shut.

it should have been 3am, but with the clocks moving forward was it 2 or 4?

it was 4.

in "real time".
