C64WhizOk, I've had it. It's been almost 3 weeks since I've gotten my #Commodore #C64U. I'm opening it up and trying it out...want to make sure it works.
Wow! Pretty but hard to see the keys with the lights. Nice feature is you can turn off the LEDs for the keys and keep the case so it's not a bad thing.
Plus, with a name like C64Whiz, I better freak'n know where the keys are without looking! 😂
Hey, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!!!! You knew you were sending this to the US and you still set it to PAL?!?! Tsk tsk.
Kroc Camen@c64whiz Defaulting to PAL is fully intentional -- the vast majority of C64 games and modern content work best on, or outright require, PAL because the UK produced most of the games for the system, and the EU created the demoscene. The C64 is one of the rare instances of PAL being the superior system.
Valid point, but I still think it could have been set for the destination. I just noticed the time server was also set for Western Europe.
I"m not seriously complaining, I just figured it would have been one of those nice little touches.
