Holy shit. The NDP voted out their establishment/continuity slate of officers. The delegates voted for the new progressive slate of candidates, signalling the evolution of the party back towards its socialist roots.

Massive upset in the officer leadership at #ndp2026 -- the "continuity" slate was defeated by a last-minute slate that included Libby Davies. Only people in the room are allowed to vote on this and so it not only seals the Lewis victory, but it also shows that support goes deep.

She was completely silent when I asked about covid & public health policies that are still killing & disabling people. All politicians normalized ableism/social eugenics.
Good on her for the other stuff though.
