My old man story for the day: I took a break during the protest today to buy a empanada from my favorite place, inside a marketplace with lots of little shops. While I was waiting, the radio was playing the Indigo Girls, which reminded me of the first time I saw them perform, at the 1993 March on Washington for Lesbian, Gay, and Bi Equal Rights and Liberation in DC. Sadly I didn’t really know who they were and I fell asleep during their set; eventually I became a big fan. #NoKings #Longmont

The power of music, to take you back to some important days. Regardless of falling asleep or not 😉
