Still half dark as I set off for my Sunday walk to the markets. This time next week we're back to normal!

@sister_ratched

We should take the British Columbia approach and just keep daylight savings time year round imo ๐Ÿ™‚

Lady I walked past yesterday after an evening trip to the supermarket stopped me and said it will be dark this time next week ๐Ÿ˜•

@HardBeingGreen
Take the QLD approach ๐Ÿคญ
Keep standard time, but businesses start work an hour earlier than the southerners

@sister_ratched

@AnnonBudgie @HardBeingGreen Oh, didn't know that!
@sister_ratched
My southern relies complain bitterly when they come here... office style work usually starts at 8am
@HardBeingGreen

@AnnonBudgie @sister_ratched

8am ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Pass, I'm lucky to get to the office by 9.30am lol

I start at 8.30am when I work from home

@HardBeingGreen
We don't get anywhere near as much variety in daylight hours - closer to the equator
@sister_ratched
@AnnonBudgie @HardBeingGreen @sister_ratched WFH: I'm at my desk around 7 am in warmer weather but 8 am in the colder months. I'm a squib ๐Ÿ˜
@cheryanne
When I WFH my start is somewhere between 6 & 7:30
My door to door commute is just over an hour... I leave my OOO on until 8am though & take the time as focus time
@HardBeingGreen @sister_ratched

@HardBeingGreen @sister_ratched @AnnonBudgie

Which is just the Claytonโ€™s version of Daylight Savings Time.

@Kirsty
Except it is year round ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I for example can start work any time between 7am and 9am

The expectation is that I start at 8

When I worked in Sydney/Melbourne I could start between 8 and 9:30
